Virginia Lee Patterson (Ginny) was born Oct 11, 1936 and passed away July 4, 2026 at her home in Sumner, WA.

Virginia leaves behind her son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren who will all dearly miss her.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Clyde and daughters Karen and Rhonda.

Virginia met her husband Clyde in the mid 1950's in Longview, WA where they married in November of 1962. Together they enjoyed raising a family and spending time outdoors taking in all that mother nature had to offer. Spending time with family and friends at their Toutle river property was amongst the highlights of their life together. When they retired in 1990 Virginia and Clyde fell in love with traveling the country in search of those special rocks. They became "rockhounds". For over 20 years they travelled the country enjoying their time together in Love collecting rocks.

In 2013 her husband of more than 50 years passed away and Virginia moved from her home in Puyallup, WA to a house her son built for her on his property in Sumner WA. There she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be a family only service 11:00 am August 4th, 2026 at the Longview Memorial Park to place mom with her beloved husband and family.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday August 29th at the family home in Sumner, WA for any to attend. In lieu of Flowers a donation can be made to the Salvation Army Puyallup WA.
