Minnie Marie Metzger (Loreth) was born July 28, 1927 in Langdon, ND; and passed away on May 15, 2020 in Puyallup, WA. She is preceded in the death by her parents Frank & Elizabeth Loreth, 8 brothers, and 6 sisters. Minnie is survived by her daughter, Deborah McGowan – Federal Way, WA; her son, Richard Metzger – Alamogordo, NM; and daughter Denise Shriver – Ocean Shores, WA; and Minnie's sister Judy Illerbrunn - Langdon, ND. She is also survived by 2 grandsons, Neil & Christopher; as well as 4 great grandchildren.

Minnie deeply loved her hobby of woodworking/wood carving. She enjoyed being outside loving nature and feeding bird and squirrels. She was a devoted Catholic, praying the rosary and watching Mass – daily.

Minnie was multi-talented and loved to created things for her yard; such as Halloween decorations and costumes, Christmas decorations, and for Easter celebrations. She also made thousands of rosaries for the Church to distribute to less fortunate countries. She always like to keep her hands busy.

She was a former member of the Sumner Grange and Women's Club of Bonney Lake. Thru her working life, Minnie was a career machinist working for various factories in Chicago and Washington state.

Her family will surely miss her….
