Alice \"Louise\" Deffley, 94, was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 14, 1926 and passed away, peacefully at home, on November 1st, 2020. Louise was married to Donald Deffley for over 53 years, and resided in the Auburn-Black Diamond area for the past 47 years. Louise was the daughter of Doss and Janie Acree of Altanta, GA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Dixon. Louise lived in the Renton, WA area for many years, during which she worked for Boeing in the Production Illustration Department. She later worked for Puget Power, in the Renton office, until her retirement. Louise was the mother of 4 sons; Mike, Tim, Galen, and Mark O\'Brien. She was preceded in death by two of her sons; Galen and Tim. She was also the step-mother of Renee and Lanette Deffley. She was a proud grandmother of 8, and a great grandmother of 7, who will all miss her dearly. Louise was a prolific writer and had several of her stories published over the years. She was a proud member of the Plateau Area Writers Association. She enjoyed traveling with Don, and was able to visit friends and family in various parts of the country.
