Obituary For Judith Ann Heard

Surrounded by her children, Judith Ann Heard (Judy) left this earth peacefully on April 5th, 2024 after a very brief illness. Born November 10th, 1947 in Seattle, WA to Clarence and Vivian Rein she was the 5th of 8 children. Besides her family, whom she loved
immensely, Judy loved the Seattle Seahawks, planting her annual vegetable garden, attending West Seattle High School reunion events, crafting, sewing quilts, trips to the casino and travel adventures with her sister and brother-in-law. Judy is survived by her pride and joy, her 3 Children; Jeff Heard (sp. Amanda), Angie Garonzik (sp. Jed) and Ben Heard (sp. Brandy) - 8 Grandchildren; Dalton Nelson (sp. Jen), Casey Miles, Benjamin Heard Jr., Jackson Heard, Chase Heard, Bradford Heard, Sydney Garonzik and Quinn Garonzik - 2 Great-Grandbabies; Owen and Barrett Nelson - and 3 siblings; Pat Parker (sp. CD), Joe Rein (sp. Joan) and Jim Rein. Family meant everything to Judy and as such, a family and friends gathering to celebrate her life will be planned for this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Judy by doing one of her favorite things. Call someone you care about just to say hello, enjoy a meal out with someone you love, attend a sporting event with a friend, send someone a note to say you are thinking of them or simply spend quality time with your family. These were the things that lit up her world.

Condolences

It is with sadness that I had to say goodbye to my best friend, my sister. We laughed, cried and occasionally disagreed. We had some fun adventures, cruises, and road trips. I know I will see you again someday.💔

Our sweet childhood friend Judy, whom we will always hold deep in our hearts, as part of our family. An integral part of our lives, we never imagined you would not always be with us. I send deepest condolences to all. I am heartbroken and very sad, feeling her loss. Somehow we go along in life thinking our loved ones will always be here. Now we carry the happy moments we shared with her, in our hearts, and in the memories she left for us. God bless Judy and those that she left behind. Our families grew up nearly as one , from the time we could walk, through entire lifetimes of our parents, our children, and on through grand children. You are all in my thoughts forever. Katherine and family

I remember Judy so well from when our children were little. She was a kind and caring friend. I still hang the crocheted snowflakes she made for me on my Christmas tree every year and think of her. She will not be forgotten! With heartfelt sorrow on the loss of this special, gentle lady. Judy was a treasured member of our WSHS Class of 66 and it was always a treat to see her smiling face! And what a delight when she crafted our 50th WSHS Reunion charm bracelets, A Life well remembered!!!

Laughing and sharing a Coke at the drive in movies !! Going in for popcorn, running into both of our high school friends and missing the entire movie !! Fun ! Maybe 1967 or 8 ish. Listening to Vicki Carr endlessly , I had not thought about that in years , It makes me smile.
