Jay Mitchell Davis, 48 passed away in Pierce County WA after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer on March 26 2024.

Jay was the first-born child of Mitchell and Barbara, born in Seattle Washington on September 2nd 1975. He spent his early childhood in West Seattle where he and his dog Corkey were inseparable, spending time catching and collecting snakes in the greenbelt near his parents' home. Jay attended Foster High School in Tukwila Washington where he enjoyed art and wrestling. His career path led him into construction where he proved to be a talented carpenter. Recently he transitioned into the scrap metal industry and is sorely missed at Valley Recycling where he was a metal buyer since 2017.

Jay spent all of his free time with his children, often shooting in the foothills, exploring the trails along the river near Orting, BBQing his 'famous' steaks and playing video games. They were his greatest joy in life.

Jay is survived by his mother and stepfather Barb and Chuck Schamberg, his father Mitch Davis, his four children Devon 25, Talon 15, Violet 14 and Sawyer 8, along with his constant companion Abby (dog).

A celebration of life will be planned in the near future.
