She was a loving, feisty, and extremely independent woman. She cared deeply about children and prior to retirement, worked as Child Protective Services Worker and at times as a phlebotomist. She loved animals and throughout her life had various dogs and cats. She also liked to travel and very much enjoyed the great outdoors, tending plants and walking among trees and the desert.
