David Maurice Pierce, 64, of Lake Tapps, WA, died on February 21, 2022. He was born on July 30, 1957 to Don and Careen Pierce. He grew up in Bandon, OR, where he had a wonderful childhood spent camping, fishing, spending time with his beloved grandparents, and playing football. After graduating from Oregon State University, he became a civil engineer and would eventually design marine work throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. He married Cynthia Gould in 1982. They had three children, and later, two grandchildren. His family was the most important thing to him, and his favorite days were when the entire family was gathered together. He loved sharing his favorite hobbies with them: waterskiing, wood working, playing cards, and fly fishing. David is survived by his wife, Cynthia, his children Sarah, Christopher (and his wife, Candace) and Emily, his grandchildren Aubri and Aidan, his sister, Tauna (and her husband, Ken), his niece, Kayla, and his nephew, Matthew.
