Augustine Lenny Martinez, A loving father and grandfather, passed away September 22, 2021 in Federal Way Washington.

Augustine is survived by his son and daughter in law; Augustine Frank Martinez(Carey), His grandchildren; Mia, Austin, Riley, Lexi, Logan and many cousins, nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents; Frank Martinez and Marcelina (Gurule) Martinez, His brothers; Benny and Lenny, sister; Gloria.

Augustine was born February 6th, 1951 in castle rock Colorado to Frank and Marcelina Martinez. He was the youngest of ten children. He Then moved to Utah where he graduated high school from Clearfield High in 1970. He and close friend, Andrew Ocana, joined the Army together shortly after graduating high school. Augustine was Honorably discharged in October of 1972 he received the National defense service medal.

He spent his working life and career as a carpenter and floor coverer. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, camping, playing basketball when younger and spending time with his family.

Funeral Mass will be held on October 8th at 11 am at St. Philomena Catholic Church 1790 S 222nd st. Des Moines, WA 98198.
